TISAX®

TISAX® (Transportation Industry Standards for Information Security AX)  
is an information security certification for the German automobile industry. 
TISAX® certification is based on the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Standard 
and is granted to suppliers in the automotive industry who must meet stringent information security requirements. To obtain TISAX® certification, you must take a series of information security measures, which are verified and certified by an external auditor. These measures include information security policies, network and system protection, data protection, access control, and physical security.

TISAX® certification increases the opportunity to work with a wide range of automotive companies and increases the confidence in information security.

Target groups for TISAX® assessments
Assessments according to TISAX® were developed for suppliers and service providers
within the automotive sector who work with sensitive data. 

The TISAX® labels are recognised by all VDA members including companies such as Audi, 
Volkswagen, BMW and many others. 

In some cases, assessment to TISAX® is already mandatory for suppliers.

We have been audited and certified by ISMS through the Official German Accreditation Board (DAkkS) for many years.

Especially in the automotive industry, TÜV NORD is able to conduct evaluations around the world. 

We have been approved as a TISAX® evaluation provider by an authorized ENX association.
